Summary[]

Twenty years after Charles Xavier's death, Bishop finally meets up with Erik Lehnsherr, Magneto. Bishop immediately starts accusing Magneto of letting Xavier die and creating an alternate world. Magneto, using his powers to slow the flow of iron in his blood, sedates Bishop. The X-Men then take him back to their compound for proper questioning.

Elsewhere, in Henry McCoy's lab, a test subject named Frederick Dukes breaks free and is stopped by Scott Summers. Sinister then tells Scott that he will be in charge while he's away. Soon after, Apocalypse himself addresses his Horsemen.

In England, Weapon X and Jean Grey rendezvous with the Human High Council.

Meanwhile, back in Westchester, Magneto and Rogue probe Bishop's mind and realize that their current reality might actually be an "alternate reality" as Bishop claims. It's then that Magneto initiates his mission to correct time and space.
