Elizabeth Braddock is a British mutant stuck in the body of an Asian ninja. She is a member of Charles Xavier's team of X-Men in the Prime Universe (Earth-616). She is often called Betsy. And her superhero alias is "Psylocke".
Psylocke was one of the X-Men that traveled back in time with David Haller. While in the past, she witnessed the killing of Xavier. Upon Xavier's death, she and the other X-Men blinked out of existence. If Xavier was killed in the past, then he never would have formed the X-Men in the future.
As Psylocke and the others disappeared from reality, the M'Kraan Crystal warped space and time created a new reality, one that came to be known as the Age of Apocalypse (Earth-295).
