Alexander Summers is a mutant in the service of Apocalypse. Both he and his brother Scott Summers were raised by Sinister.
While checking up on Henry McCoy in his lab, Alex witnesses the experimental mutant named Frederick Dukes breaking loose and attacking McCoy. He blasted Dukes with energy before his brother Scott arrived to rescue them both. Alex immediately got into an argument with his brother, which was ended by Sinister.
